GCWerks CRDS

Acquire or import spectrospic data from leading instrument manufacturers. GCWerks shields the user for the specifics of each manufacturer's data formats and variable naming conventions, providing a uniform structure across manufacturers and models.

  • Picarro: Acquire or import data from the latest Picarro concentration or isotope analyzers, such as the G2401. Import data from the older Picarro G1301 analyzer.
  • Los Gatos Research: Acquire or import data from the latest LGR analyzers.
  • Aerodyne: Capability to import data from Aerodyne QC laser analyzers is being developed.
  • Supports Valco valves for automation of sampling

Review data rapidly

Fast interactive graphics for years of time series results. Change the plotted or reported mean instantly by pressing 60 min, 20 min, 5 min or 1 min.

A number of raw and calculated instrument parameters may be plotted or reported.

View high-frequency data

View the high-frequency data (bottom) corresponding to any point in the time series by clicking or dragging the mouse across the time series.

Drift correct based on standards

Correct for drift in instrument response based on periodic standard measurements. Top: Instrument N2O response over time for tank and standard. Bottom: Sample/standard ratio based on adjacent standard measurments for tank and standard.

Multi-point calibration

Multi-point calibration as a function of concentration. On the y-axis is instrument response divided by concentration, normalized to periodic standard measurements (at 1.0). For a linear response, all points would lie along y=1.0.

Multi-point calibration as a function of time. Assess stability of nonlinearity over time. These are the same data plotted above versus concentration.

Flag data graphically

Flag 1-minute data by clicking on individual points or drawing a rectangle around a group of points.

Acquire data

Acquire data directly from the instrument with complete control of the sequence, scheduled events, and Valco valves. Receive email notification of user-specified alarm conditions.
